Privacy Policy

The short version: there is no account, no server and no tracking. Your camera is used to analyse movement on your device and nothing it sees is ever recorded or sent anywhere.
Can You Still? is built by one developer and designed to collect as little about you as possible.
Camera
Some challenges use your camera to check whether you performed a movement. Video is analysed live, on your device, using Apple's Vision framework. Frames are held in memory only for as long as it takes to measure them, and are then discarded.
No photo or video is ever recorded, saved to your device, or transmitted to us or to anyone else. The app has no facility to upload them, because it has no server.
Motion sensors
One challenge uses your device's accelerometer and gyroscope to measure balance instead of the camera. That data is processed on your device and is never transmitted.
Your progress
Your streak, completed days and collected animals are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage. They are not sent to us and they are not backed up to any service we control. Deleting the app deletes this data permanently — we have no copy and cannot restore it for you.
Purchases
Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to determine whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your subscription status. It does not receive your name, email address or Apple ID.
Apple handles all payment details. We never see your payment information.
Analytics and tracking
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use the advertising identifier.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. All of your data lives on your device and is entirely under your control.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
